Christmas
Program
After many weeks
of hard work the Academy for Early Learning students presented their
annual Christmas Program. The children celebrated the birth of our
Lord with songs and poems. Shepherds, Angels, and Wise Men were all
on hand as everyone did their best to share the true meaning of
Christmas, starting with a group song of “Deck The Halls” which has
a new Christian Content, and ending with “Come Let Us Worship The
King”.

Children’s
Day
Each
year our Academy for Early Learning Students participates in
Northside Baptist Church’s Children Day. The children enjoyed
opening the Worship Service with Songs of praise. The members were
tickled to hear these sweet little children sing “God Made the
Apple”, “The Lord’s Been Good to Me”, and “When I Am Sad”. After the
children sang they were taken to classrooms where the AEL teachers
had a song time with them, then Mrs. Lazenby read” The Pumpkin Patch
Parable” and cut open a pumpkin for the children to explore what was
inside. Thanks to all the parents who brought the children to our
church on this special day.
Family
Night
At
the beginning of the school year we celebrated our continued
partnership with the families we serve by hosting a cookout.
Families of Northside Childcare and Academy for Early Learning
joined with teachers and Church staff to eat Barbeque, play with the
children and attend a home NCA Varsity Football Game. The children
enjoyed singing with Vegetales and jumping in the bounce house. The
activity that was the most challenging was to locate the children’s
socks and shoes after finishing with the bounce house! What a
wonderful chance to fellowship with the ones we love.
Grandparent’s Day
Each
year we celebrate the
Grandparents of the Children who attend our Academy. This allows us
a chance to demonstrate to the Grandparents how their grandchild
learns at our facility. All in attendance enjoyed the opening, which
included a parade, performance and breakfast. This day is truly one
of the highlights of our year.
