Homecoming 2009
Megan Hicks Crowned Homecoming Queen
On October 2, 2009 representatives from K4 all the way through the senior class were presented in a special half-time ceremony.
Seniors Megan Hicks, Rebecca Raborn, and Holly Trautman represented the Class of 2010 on the Homecoming Court. Megan Hicks,
daughter of Butch and Susan Hicks, was crowned NCA’s 2009 Homecoming Queen. She has attended NCA for her entire educational career.
While a student at Northside, Megan has been very involved as a cheerleader. She has worked on the squad as well as in the hallways to
promote school spirit and support NCA. Megan has also been very active in church, serving as a nursery worker and helping in children’s
Sunday School. Her goal is to be an elementary teacher and cheerleading coach.
Megan became a Christian at the age of five. She remembers praying with her mother one night as she specifically felt the need for salvation.
She encourages her fellow students to “follow Christ and always trust in Him because He will never let you down.”
Congratulations to Megan and all of our Homecoming representatives!
