Student Council Leads See You at the Pole Ceremony

NCA senior high student council members planned and orchestrated our annual See You at the Pole ceremony on Wednesday, September 23, 2009.  The ceremony was held on the I-85 side of the parking lot, in an effort to be a testimony to those passing down the highway in the early morning rush hour.

Student Body President Spencer Leeds played his guitar and led the crowd in some praise and worship choruses, followed by times of prayer.  National Honor Society President Jessica Stanley assisted with vocal support and other class officers led in specific prayers for our nation, state, and school.  Then officers separated into group leaders and students circled around their raised flags to spend some time in focused prayer.

Many enjoyed the time of fellowship with representatives from all areas of the student body, including elementary, middle school, and senior high students.  Students, parents, and school faculty and staff all joined in the time of prayer and enjoyed the fellowship of our common bond in Christ.
