This non-contact camp is a great learning opportunity for players of
all experience levels, from the first-time “rookie” to a seasoned
“veteran.” Campers will be grouped according to age and ability,
insuring a positive learning environment.
The
emphasis of the Football Camp is teaching the fundamentals of the game
in an energetic, enthusiastic, and encouraging atmosphere. Join
Coaches Shedrick Washington, Brentson Buckner, and Al Wallace for a
great week of football fun. Coach Washington (Head Coach), Buckner and
Wallace lead NCA’s football coaching staff. Coach Buckner played
football at Clemson University prior to joining the NFL where he
played with the Pittsburgh Steelers (Super Bowl XXX), Cincinnati
Bengals, San Francisco 49ers, and most recently with the Carolina
Panthers (Super Bowl XXXVIII). Coach Wallace began his career in the
NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles and has been a member of the Carolina
Panthers since 2002.This experienced staff realizes the importance of
teaching sound techniques in skill areas such as passing, receiving,
blocking, tackling, and running. Students will have fun while learning
to play from coaches who know the game! Each camper receives a camp
T-shirt and awards will be given at the end of the week for
outstanding camp participation
