The 2020-2021 school year will mark my 18th year in education. Since graduating from the University at Buffalo where I earned my Masters in Secondary Social Studies education and Canisius College where I earned my School Building Leadership (SBL) certification, I have had the opportunity to serve as a high school Social Studies teacher for 8 years and then as a school building administrator for the next ten years.
The rich experiences of my past have helped shape me into the leader that I am today. What you are getting in your new head of school is a visionary leader who is student-centered and one who believes in the power of developing healthy relationships and partnerships with all stakeholders. I am also very committed to always exploring new ways to meet the needs of all students and to more effectively communicate with parents and community members.
With that being said, over the next several weeks, I plan to meet with students, faculty/staff, and families in order to gain further insights into the core beliefs and values that underlie Northside Christian Academy. It is my goal to build upon the tradition of excellence that has been long established here at Northside Christian Academy.
In closing, please know that my door is always open to you. I am confident that as we partner together, we will make Northside stronger. I look forward to celebrating our collective successes throughout the 2020-2021 school year.
