Academic Success
Our elementary school serves as the foundation for NCA students to grow and mature in their academic learning and spiritual walk. Northside Christian Academy has developed a curriculum that caters to the various levels to propel students towards academic and spiritual success. The elementary school teachers at Northside in Charlotte, NC, work alongside the students to mentor and help them develop thinking and study skills early on.
We offer a wide variety of class options for students. This includes top subjects such as math and science, monthly S.T.E.A.M. initiatives, and extracurricular classes. Extracurricular classes include music, physical education, technology, foreign language, library and art. After school enrichment programs are provided each quarter, and may include activities in the areas of dance, martial arts, flag football, soccer, fitness, cheerleading, art enrichment, and robotics. Northside annually organizes a theater production for the elementary school performers, which includes drama, music and dance.
Emphasizing on the need to cultivate and encourage our gifted students, we stress the importance of active leadership though participation in our gifted education classes and after school enrichment programs.

Our student to teacher ratios average from 1:12 in lower elementary to 1:18 in upper elementary school, allowing students to have the sufficient attention they need and desire.
